Franz Forman
FOUNDER
My true love of cars started when I was in the 4th grade and we visited the Porsche factory while on vacation. Hearing a flat-six engine being tested in a dyno room and watching a 911 come to life before my eyes made a mark that I'll never forget. Watching the European cars blaze by our rental on the Autobahn left me in awe! This quickly escalated into reading most of the monthly car magazines and memorizing the performance statistics. Of course, my walls and ceiling were literally wallpapered with posters of Porsche 930s, the Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari Testarossa, and every other supercar of the late 80s and early 90s. While studying marketing and communications in college I would buy and sell fun cars and motorcycles as a side job and also write the business plan for what would eventually become Forman Motorworks. Following seven years as a factory rep for Michelin North America I was able to turn my childhood dreams into a reality and play with cars as a full-time career.

I have always been fascinated with cars. As a kid, I would keep up with vehicle releases and try to spot the new models on the road, pointing them out to whoever else was in the car. I’ll never forget my first ride in my grandparent’s Corvette, gripping the door handle while the V8 screams down the road, which cemented my passion. Along with the design and performance, I love the engineering brilliance that can be seen in exotic and performance cars. My passion continues even after work where I enjoy going on drives and restoring our CJ7.

I have always had a passion for cars and I am excited to expand my knowledge about them. Cars will always fascinate me by their engineering and design. I want to learn more about the world of automobiles, understanding how they work and the technology behind them. Learning more about cars will allow me to appreciate the craftsmanship and innovation that goes into creating these machines. I am excited to explore different car models and their performance with the help of Forman Motorworks.
